Thanks so much for considering this for me. I think that by making sure Straighterline is truly put out there on our base it should include all the benefits such as: What Straighterline is about, how it was started, its easier and cheaper to earn college credit, regional colleges that Straighterline are partners with, your courses and more to come in the future and brief information about the blackboard system which is used for your course work. And all the friendly support that you all give (which I know first hand and I'm thrilled!)Most importantly the man behind it all you.
Ryan I have no doubt in my mind that once Straighterline is circulated here on our base and other bases these spouses are going to take advantage of this.
Most are stay at home mom's who truly want to attend college or have some way of earning credits to transfer later. With Straighterline what more could a military spouse ask for? Friendly support, cheap prices in comparison to traditional college credits per hour,do your course work at home and still have time to attend to the family and the duties that follow the spouses with our husbands being in the military.
This is also something great for the Marines themselves, who don't have time for the traditional college setting or way of earning credits.
And best of all where we go during our time as a family in the Marine Corps Straigtherline comes right along with us from the states to overseas!!
I'd be very interested in the Barnes and Noble. I hope I'm not stepping on your toes Ryan. I'm simply excited and want everyone to know here this is an opportunity that shouldn't be passed.
Please don't laugh, but I called some friends on base at Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base and told them about it. Currently they are in the process of moving to Japan for 3 years and then onto Turkmenistan for Embassy duty.
So this is something that will be right up their alley while they are out of country.
Again Ryan thank you so much! You've made going to college easier and affordable for me!!
Thank you so much for the welcome! If my husband were home he'd say to you " it's an honor to serve this country and protect us on the home front" So I am personally extending that to you on his behalf.
I am so happy to have learned about Straighterline this is a wonderful way to earn college credit without paying the mega bucks. And for some that's hard to do this day and time with the economy.
I've passed the word around our base here in North Carolina and will continue to do so. The spouses here need a way to earn credits as we are on tight budgets. If you have pamphlets Ryan could you send me some to place here?
Again thank you and I look forward to taking more classes here at Straighterline!! Hope to see a science course soon :o) wink wink
Take care and have an awesome day!!
